Splashbacks are supplied in a choice of two materials:

  • Float Glass, which has a green tint - useful when producing 'minty white' splashbacks
  • Low Iron Glass, which is more commonly used and is more optically clear, enabling clarity of any applied paint colour. We can have the paint manufactured to match any colour sample provided.

 The glass splashback can be toughened where required.

Toughened glass and toughened laminate

  • Manufactured from two toughened panels which are laminated together, toughened laminated glass is much stronger than toughened glass of the same thickness and is ideally suited to most safety critical applications.
  • Toughened laminate consists of sheets of toughened safety glass bonded together with a tough interlayer which enhances safety amd security as well as restraining glass fragments in the event of breakage.
  • The glass panels can be notched or drilled.
  • Special interlayers are available which include sound control, privacy and decorative effects.
  • Patterned and tinted glass can be laminated and materials such as film or fabrics can be bonded between the panels to create unique finishes.
